Schools:
I grew up in various parts of North Carolina, lived in Atlanta for 7 years just after college, then in Knoxville for 9 years.

I've spent the last 11 years in a small college town in North Carolina. I live with my husband, two sons, and a psychic, psychotic dog. I hope never to move again.

I have a Bachelors in Communication from Wake Forest and a Masters in English from the University of Tennessee.

I worked in corporate communications, advertising, and broadcasting for 10 years, then did a very brief stint as an English instructor.

I've devoted much of the past 10 years to autism intervention, support, and advocacy. My youngest son has autism.

I fit in everywhere and nowhere. That's finally ok with me.
